This is my first keyboard that I've put together myself and the sound quality is lovely. I enjoy how it effectively sounds like a PC plate/thock despite the plate being integrated into the top half of the aluminium case. Of course some of it comes down to using the appropriate switches (Kailh PRO Purples), but it cannot be denied that the subdued thockiness is what I was after
